Each cup in the FRESCO series is decorated with a different medieval Serbian pattern. The ancient frescoes still on the walls of the monasteries are so bold and timeless that it’s hard to imagine how old they actually are.
I was a child when I saw it for the first time and immediately fell for this aesthetic. I am still preoccupied with this genre of art, albeit for different reasons. Like a mysterious, mystical code, it works on several levels. I am someone who is always searching for the truth, but even when I think I have found it, I question everything again.
